Porsche Supercup update

After a break of nearly four weeks, the Porsche Mobil1 Supercup is on the track again. On 1st July the next race will take place in Magny Cours (France). In the pre-programme of the Formula 1, Richard Westbrook, the current leader in the driver standings, and his team mate Michael Schrey will be fighting for a place on the podium.

Originally built as a karting track in 1959, Magny Cours is located in a rural region about 260 kilometres south of Paris. Over the years it has been developed into a F1 standard circuit on which the French Grand Prix has taken place since 1991.

Did you know …
… that Richard Westbrook is also driving in the German Carrera Cup? Being current champion of the British Carrera Cup he decided to participate with the German Araxa-Team from Ludwigsburg in the German Cup 2007.
Starting last week-end at the Norisring in Nürnberg from 22nd position, he produced an incredible performance and finished 5th, winning back the pole position in the driver standings of the German Carrera Cup.
