After a successful motor sport engagement in 2007, where FARO started its motor sport activities supporting the HISAQ Competition Team and Richard Westbrook, Porsche Supercup Champion 2006 and 2007, FARO continues its involvement in 2007.

The last couple of years FARO got more and more requests out of the motor sport sector. Constructors, suppliers and last but not least teams were looking for solutions to optimize the set up of racing cars, starting with the measurement of simple parts in the workshop up to the right set-up of race cars directly on the race track. Kai Gärtling, recently assigned Key Account Manager motor sport, will be happy to find an individual solution for your request.

Recently assigned Key Account Manager motor sport Kai Gärtling comments: “In our first motor sport year 2007 we had the idea to develop with strong partners a measurement system, to measure car set-ups directly at the racetrack. This solution has been tested and approved. This year we continue to develop the system and plan to launch it by mid of this year.” Further the engagement with the HISAQ Team, FARO already started in 2007 to work also with other teams like Raeder motor sport.

In 2008 FARO wants to enhance and present its experiences in motor sport and planned therefore several platforms together with key partners like Raeder motor sport and Heggemann Autosport.
